Councilmember Goronkin appointed to board
Tempe, AZ - Councilmember Pam Goronkin was recently appointed to serve on the East Valley Partnership Board of Directors. The East Valley Partnership is a regional coalition of community, business, educational, and government leaders whose goal is to provide leadership and support in specific areas to improve business and quality of life in the region.
Goronkin will serve on the Economic Development Committee which will focus on growth of high wage industries, alignment of regional economic development strategies and development of strategies that align with global industry trends.
"It is an honor to serve on the board in partnership with my colleagues from surrounding communities," Goronkin said. "Working together regionally to bring business to the area will strengthen the financial stability of the entire East Valley."
Goronkin will serve on the East Valley Partnership Board of Directors for a 3-year term with the option to serve a second consecutive term.
