Ceramic exhibition heads to downtown Post Office
TEMPE, Ariz. - A sampling of the work of the Valley's professional ceramics
artists participating in the Fourth Annual Ceramic Open Studio Tour, will be
on display from Jan. 7 through April 8 at the United States Post Office, 500
S. Mill Ave., Downtown Tempe (5th Street & Mill Avenue).
Viewers will see a range of functional, sculptural, wheel thrown and
hand-built ceramics in the exhibit. The artists use numerous glazing and
firing techniques to finish their works.
The annual Self-Guided Ceramic Studio Tour is organized by the Artists
Advisory Committee of the Arizona State University Art Museum's Ceramics
Research Center, located at the Northeast corner of 10th Street & Mill
Avenue.
